We're seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to facilitate new relationships with active leads and create business opportunities that contribute to our long-term business growth.
The Sales Consultant will play a fundamental role in achieving the company’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives by selling a portfolio of services that span across multiple departments within the organization. The Sales Consultant is responsible for conducting discovery calls with active inbound leads, generating interest, and converting to front-end sales.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. Compensation is based on a commission-only structure which is uncapped. Bonuses and upward mobility opportunities are also available.

Engage with an audience who has shown an active interest in the company’s services.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
Understand client needs to more effectively offer solutions and support.
Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
Conduct approximately 40-80 inbound calls per week (virtual meetings).
Self-generate 20 calls per month (approx. 1 / day) through organic & outbound marketing methods.
Deliver on a 40% close rate on a one-call closing ability.
Attend daily sales meetings via zoom 7:30 am PDT, Monday - Friday.
Meet and/or exceed quotas.
Conduct a minimal amount of team and administrative tasks.
Maintain an organized deal pipeline in a CRM system to record lead gen activity.
Transition enrollments to client success to facilitate an exceptional customer experience.

One year of experience in a commission based/goal-oriented sales environment.
At least 1 year of phone sales experience.
Experience with low ticket, high volume sales (ie. $5k max sales price, 1-2 calls close) rather than longer cycle B2B/enterprise sales.
Excellent ability to naturally build rapport, develop relationships and connect with others.
Empathic listener and persuasive communicator.
Can shift gears easily and change tactics to respond to various interactions with prospects.
Comfort in having crucial conversations on a daily basis with business owners.
Demonstrates perseverance to overcome objections and can easily handle rejection.
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken.
Working knowledge of CRM systems.
Excellent presentation and listening skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have home office equipment/computer and high speed internet.
People skills: You’re going to be talking with people all day. Being a natural rapport builder is going to hedge your bets of success (this DOESN’T mean you have to be an extrovert).
Integrity: Be someone who follows through with what you say. Be honest with prospects. And only enroll clients who’re a great fit.
Leadership: You must always lead prospects to the best decision for them EVEN IF that decision is outside of their comfort zone. Take a stand for what’s BEST for people.
Hunger / Work ethic: This is not an easy job, but it pays well. To earn the income possible for you here… you must be willing to work hours honing in your craft and doing everything you can to 1) generate opportunities 2) close them. You must be hungry.
Proactive: Wherever you are in relation to your projections, you must know why. If you’re ahead, you must know what you’re doing well and what needs to be reinforced. If you’re behind, you must have the awareness to know WHY you're behind. Proactive behavior will create awareness. And your awareness will allow you to adjust your behavior to get the results.
Attention to detail: You will be tasked with staying up to date with your numbers and CRM activities. This is secondary to HITTING your numbers but still important.
High standards: You’re tasked with helping prospects live up to their highest standards. Therefore, YOU must live up to your own high standards.
Poise: You’ll be having crucial conversations on a daily basis which - a lot of times - can be life-changing conversations for the prospect. You must be calm under pressure and hold firm to help the prospect make the best decision for them.
