Job Description:
This position requires rotating on-call for production systems support Experience with a variety of commercial Unix and Linux platforms and distributions Shell Scripting experience is essential, formal programming experience is a plus System performance tuning A variety of software experience NAS and SAN Storage Administration experience Network management including Bonding/Teaming interfaces, diagnosing network problems Experience with Oracle RDBMS Database, Apache, Tomcat, VMware This position requires Remote Install, Support, Monitoring and Maintenance of Client IT infrastructure Excellent organization skills
Skills Required:
5+ years Linux (Red Hat / SuSE) and Unix is a must
Systems Patching and Backup/Restore
Crash diagnosis and resolution
Shell scripting
Unix file systems and logical volume management
Storage Administration
Installation and configuration of typical Linux software from both packages and source code
Systems management using Lights Out or Remote Access tools
Desirable Skills:
VMware, other systems virtualization technologies
Systems performance tuning
Network Management (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, IDS, NMS)
Experience supporting Oracle RAC (ASM / Grid / etc)
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, CIS or similar discipline, or equivalent5+ years of Systems Administration experience

5 years of direct experience.
Experience in a customer facing technical support role.
Enjoys and thrives in a customer facing role.
Preferred experience in other software.
UNIX/LINUX, REDHAT NAS/SAS knowledge is a plus.
